Speed Limit

I'm not sure if I like this video or not, but it's interesting. Bunch of college kids/assholes decided to drive the speed limit using the highways around Atlanta. Nothing good can come of this.

Ever worry about giving a site your email?

This site rocks. I'm amazed no one thought of this earlier. Unless today IS earlier.

Site advisor ranks a site based on who it is affiliated with and how it treats its users. They give the site their email address and monitor how many emails they get from that site. They download software from the site and test it for safety. And the map out the sites related to any one site.

Internet site being held accountable for their actions? That's, like, credibility.... a first on the net.

Parnel or Stevens Father.

This guy looks like Chris Parnel's father (or something close) but has
the skills of a classical Sufjan Stevens. Maybe this will be Sufjan in
coming decades. He plays an entire symphany of 37 cello parts by
himself.

With Legs Wide Open...

Kid Rock, sure. Scott Stapp?

This puts to rest all the claims that Scott Stapp, of Creed, was just trying to pose a Christian group as a rock band. Exactly the opposite.

I wonder if this works.

I accidently pasted a flashgame onto the compose posting part of our blog. When I went to view the blog, the flash game was running and you could play it right in the window that the posting is part of. Can you guys too? And if we continue to post flashgames and stuff won't this blog take forever to load?

This guy deserves your lose change. They get even better too.

Weltmeisterschaft der Bart (with two dots over the a in Bart)

World Beard and Moustache Championship

While Elmar Weisser is good--very good--I must admit that I am enchanted by the way 2001 3rd place contestant Alois Plettl (of the West Bavarian Plettls) wears his homegrown face sweater. Makes the guy from Iron and Wine look like a prepubescent Swede.

Update: Yes, there will be a movie about this competition.

At least 80 percent funny

BTW Levi

You should be using this to browse the internet, especially with dialup:

download

Then, make it better by adding these: extensions and themes.

My favs:
FlashGot (save Flash files from webpages)
FasterFox (speeds up page loading, caching)
ForecastFox (weather in your area)
Tab Browser Preferences
StumbleUpon (random cool links)
Colorzilla (color picker for finding the color of things on webpages)
(Richard has more he can add to the comments that are his favs)

There's thousands more for everything else you'd want to do. And you can write your own with a little knowhow.

Life online is so much better since Firefox. It's better than flying.

It had to happen

I usually use my StumbleUpon button two tabs at a time so I can get the most out of my stumbling. Well, it finally happened. I stumbled upon the same site on two different tabs on each one's jump.

http://www.americanrhetoric.com/top100speechesall.html

While I'm one link deep with the bottom one, I think this counts as a fairly large coincidence, though when you think about it--given that the stumble button takes your interests into account when stumbling--it's not all that crazy that it should happen at the same time.

StumbleUpon rules

I used my StumbleUpon button today and stumbled upon a website that explains a certain character I remember from my time in Korea. Pucca is, according to her website, "Zzazzangmyen lover and the youngest daughter of Guh Ryeong Chinese Restaurant." Konglishee (the mixture of English and Korean) at its best.

Oh, and as you'll see, she fucking loves Garu. Yes, THE Garu.

Magic Eye In Text

Somehow this works. I really wish someone could explain to me how to do this. I don't understand the science behind this magic eye thing enought to get it.

This guy made a Magic Eye image out of text. You can select it and copy it and it'll work again (if you retain the line breaks).

PS3

Video

This is the best and longest preview I've seen yet for the PS3. The Shadow of the Collosus trailer plays after the first video as well. At times, I literally thought I was watching something real on tv. How much will this thing cost?

I cant figure this out...

I've sat and tried to figure this out but it does not make any sense. I've decided that it's
Fucking Magic.
